| Great service, friendly, fast to get appts. We always bring our cars to Fairfield Petro for repair. Our only concern was that a few weeks ago, we brought our car in for an oil change/tire change and then had to get brakes done (unexpectedly). We were also told we needed to get something else done on our car, but weren't told it was a "safety to drive" issue. When I called to book the appt for this issue, I was then told (a week after the previous appt at which I had found out about the issue), that we actually shouldn't be driving the car until the issue was fixed. It would have been good for us to be told to not drive the car until the issue was fixed. |

| I've been taking my car to Fairfield for many years. Normally it is 5 star service. This last time, I was told on the phone that my car was down half a liter on coolant and I might have a slight coolant leak. OK... When I picked up the car the shop was busy. I noticed some notes on the bill and assumed it would say 'Watch the coolant level'. When I got home, I saw that the note was a vague comment that the intake manifold gasket may be looking, causing the coolant leak. 'Needs further analysis.' There was no previous mention of an intake manifold problem while on the phone or in the shop, and I had no idea what I should do or watch for. I had to Google what this might mean, and if I should be worried. Not on a par with previous service from Fairfield Petrocan. |
