I've been taking my car to Fairfield for many years. Normally it is 5 star service. This last time, I was told on the phone that my car was down half a liter on coolant and I might have a slight coolant leak. OK... When I picked up the car the shop was busy. I noticed some notes on the bill and assumed it would say 'Watch the coolant level'. When I got home, I saw that the note was a vague comment that the intake manifold gasket may be looking, causing the coolant leak. 'Needs further analysis.' There was no previous mention of an intake manifold problem while on the phone or in the shop, and I had no idea what I should do or watch for. I had to Google what this might mean, and if I should be worried. Not on a par with previous service from Fairfield Petrocan.

It was our first time at your station and my wife and I liked it. The service was satisfactory, the explanation of what should be done and why was detailed and important. It was done that day when we were expecting to wait through the night for completion.

Some categories below are unknown/inapplicable. You may well be 5. You solved a problem Pattison couldn't. I appreciate the personal, professional, friendly and neighbourhood service. Your advice was good ( I bought two sets of tires as well as having a servicing, you advised buying steel rims later because price would be lower) and your costs were fair.
